Glasgow to host 2023 world play conference

Glasgow will host the Triennial World Conference of the IPA (International Play Association) in June 2023, it has been announced.

The event will take place at the Glasgow Caledonia University in the city centre, on 6-9 June 2023. The event will be a hybrid conference, with the option to participate either in person or online.

With IPA Scotland, the conference partners will be Play Scotland, Early Years Scotland, and Inspiring Scotland.

The 2020 edition of IPA’s triennial conference, due to be held in Jaipur, India, last year, was sadly cancelled due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Glasgow 2023 will therefore be the first such gathering for six years.

The conference website will be available in September 2021. In the meantime, visit the main IPA site for more news.
